December training

The volleyball girls will be back for training on the following dates from 11.30am to 1.30pm.

Friendly Match

Our girls will be going to Xinghua Pri on 11 August for a friendly match. This is a wonderful opportunity for us to play against our peers. So far, we have yet to play against pupils our age. Everyone is looking forward to the trip next Tuesday.

Softball Carnival

The softball carnival has been rescheduled to take place on 2 October at Pei Chun Public School. Only P3 and P4 pupils will be participating in the match. The objective of this carnival is to promote an interest in volleyball among our pupils. Endeavour volleyball girls are looking forward to participating in the carnival! =)

July training

Volleyball training will resume the coming week on 21 July (Tue). Training will take place from 1.45 to 3.45pm. I'm sure the pupils are anxious to resume training after 3 weeks of rest.

Suspension of CCA

The volleyball girls came back during the June holidays to train for an upcoming soft volleyball match which was to be held in July. The soft volleyball match which will be held in Pei Chun Public School has been postponed to a later date. At present, volleyball CCA has been suspended. Pupils will be given more information about the match once training is resumed.

Volleyball techniques

The volleyball girls have been attending their training sessions regularly and i'm pleased that they have progressed very well over the months. Keep up the good work!

Volleyball match

The girls went on a trip to Woodlands Primary last Friday to catch a volleyball match between Woodlands Primary and Anderson Primary. The match was an eye-opener as the girls have not witnessed a live match. They were also highly motivated by the strong teamwork and volleyball techniques of the players.

The younger girls expressed surprise that height does not matter in the players. The shorter players were able to strike and play as well as the taller players.

Many girls shared that they would like to brush up their skills and do Endeavour Primary proud when they participate in a volleyball match the coming year. All the best to our girls!

Practice makes perfect

Our volleyball girls are practising hard every Tuesday to ensure they can pick up the game soon. Let's continue to encourage them!

Our maiden attempt at volleyball

Volleyball (Girls) is a new CCA for Endeavour pupils this year. In the first CCA session last Tuesday, 8 pupils turned up and this number has increased to 14 this week.

Coach Mr Teo has started to teach us basic volleyball techniques such as passing posture and safety aspects as well.

Mr Teo ensures that warming up is done with an element of fun. All the girls are enthusiastic and respond well to the various exercises that develop their hand-leg and eye coordination.
